Mark Young has been involved in the land development, land investment and land brokerage business since 1978. His experience is vast. Mark started his career selling five-acre tracts of land in a joint venture with former Georgia governor, Carl Sanders. In 1985, Mark shifted his emphasis to commercial land brokerage with Portman Barry Investments. He was one of the top five agents within the company for four of his five years at Portman Barry. Since 1990, Mark has purchased and developed several significant properties in and around the Atlanta area. From single-family cluster developments such as "Between the Paces" in the small hamlet of Vinings to the massive 1,600-acre lake and golf community, Mirror Lake, in west Georgia, Mark has enjoyed great success,displaying a keen, discerning sense of investment with regard to the purchase and development of land. Mark has been directly involved in the purchase, sale and/or brokerage of more than 15,000 acres with a market value in excess of $200,000,000.
